Awards and recognitions
Kinotehnik has been a notable leader of innovation in Estonia’s start-up scene, gaining much attention and recognition.
The European Business Awards sponsored by HSBC has chosen us to represent Estonia in the prestigious 2011 Awards programme. We will now compete for a coveted Ruban d’Honneur in the next round of the competition. Final category Award winners will be unveiled in Barcelona on 22 November 2011.
The European Business Awards identified some of Europe’s brightest businesses based on their ability to demonstrate the three core principles at the heart of the Awards programme. The esteemed panel of judges were looking for organisations to represent innovation, business excellence and sustainability.

In May 2011, the company was awarded „Best Company in Tartu“ prize in small companies category.
The choice was made among more than 160 local businesses.
"It’s good to know that the recession has not affected this competition in a significant way and we still have a lot of companies showing not only stability, but growth. We especially welcome our successful newscomers. Take LCDVF LLC for example – founded only in 2009, they already have marketed their products to 21 countries and achieved a turnover of 0,7 million euros"
We have grown from a sandbox-company to a solid innovation and design powerhouse.
Also, Tõnis has been involved in many workshops regarding product design, development and entrepeneurship.
